Study Environmental Psychology ABROAD!

Take off this summer to Tanzania and Zanzibar for 3-6 hrs of Culture, Ecology and Youth Development! Explore magnificent wildlife, landscapes, and cultures!

Northern Tanzania Safari – bike, hike, and drive through Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara Parks and the Ngorongoro Crater (8th wonder of the world) to see elephants, lions, zebras and learn about the Maasai culture.

Mt. Kilimanjaro /Moshi – partner with Tanzanian youth and the Mweka community (with Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots) for hands-on learning about the ice-covered “rooftop of Africa”. Plant trees, visit an organic family coffee farm, hike to a waterfall, and swim in the “Hot Springs” oasis!

Island of Zanzibar – Swim the azure Indian Ocean, visit a spice farm, tour Stonetown’s ancient UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the slave-holding quarters, famous churches, and the market, learn about Islamic and Swahili culture, stroll Fordhani and eat a rooftop dinner with Taarab singers, relax on the beach and snorkel.
